We explore ideas, design the experience, write the software, and keep improving what we ship. We would rather make a few things that work well than many things that almost do.

How we build.

    Start with the problem.

    Every product begins with something that is awkward, slow or missing for real people — not with a technology we want to try.

    Keep the experience simple.

    Fewer screens, fewer settings, fewer surprises. Simple is harder to build, so we do the hard part.

    Build for real users.

    Real devices, patchy connections, busy people. We design for the phone in someone’s hand, not the demo.

    Care about performance.

    Speed is part of the design: quick to start, light on data, comfortable on modest hardware.

    Ship, learn, improve.

    Launch is where the real work starts. We listen, fix what is broken, and keep refining what we have shipped.
